Alicia’s Knit Knacks 🧶✨

Happy middle of June, my fellow crafters! I'm thinking we had better get started with some summer knits on our needles and backs (if you haven't already). Here's some cute patterns I've been eyeing.

I LOVE me some Joji designs!! Joji has delivered a new summer top complete with lace in a gorgeous bright purple. She's got to be one of the hardest working designers in our knitting world. If you have never knit a Joji pattern before, you're in for a treat because her patterns are so thoroughly written they all but knit themselves. Her love for her craft comes through in every design. This is fi*****ng and goodness, get out those bright colors and start casting on.

Here's another tank top which I just discovered. How did I miss this last year?! Look at the stitch patterns, oh my lacy goodness! This is elegant and form fitting with eye catching details. You won't get bored knitting this and when people see you and say, "You knit that?!" you can beam with your gorgeous summer smile. It's a light fi*****ng, but I'd love to try it in Zooey or Summer Solstice.

Alicia’s Knit Knacks 🧶✨

For this week’s knit, I want to give a shoutout to a friend/student’s creativity. I’m so blown away by Sophia’s mosaic cowl! She used what I taught her in Mosaic Knitting to add icords to the cowl so her brother can wear it skiing. Then she designed & knit a matching hat. Amazing!! I am so proud of her creativity!
