Dolly's Coleslaw is Phenomenal ✨️
I use Mt. Olive Pickles just like Dolly did....

They're also a favorite in our home, too!
The sweet pickle juice adds just the right amount of sweetness to this recipe....

The perfect addition to a good southern meal.

Born Francis Miller in Victoria, Texas. He formed his first band, The Drifting Texans, as a teenager before serving in the Korean War and earning a Bronze Star.

He recorded his biggest career smash, "Blackland Farmer," for Starday Records in 1956 (released in 1959), which peaked at No. 5 on the country charts.

Other Notable Songs 🎵

"Family Man,"
"Baby Rocked Her Dolly,"
and "A Little South of Memphis".

He was a featured regular performer on the Louisiana Hayride and the Grand Ole Opry.

He stepped away from the active music industry in the mid-1960s and worked as a car salesman in Arlington, Texas.

He experienced a career resurgence in the 2000s after signing with Heart of Texas Records and continued to release music and perform into his 90s, including an appearance at the Luck Reunion with Willie Nelson.

Shortly before his passing, he released a biography titled Frankie Miller: The Blackland Farmer - Life Among Country Music Legends, written by Greg Wilson.

Bel moved to the United States in 2024 to reunite with his family. He graduated from High School with honors, participated in the JROTC program, and played soccer.

He had just started his first week of classes at Wright State University, where he was studying neuroscience with the goal of going to medical school.

Pierre was recognized with multiple scholastic achievements prior to his tragic death in August 2026. As a standout student at Springfield High School, he was celebrated for his leadership, character, and academic dedication.
