MASA DE PIZZA CASERA

Ingredientes:
2 1/4 cucharaditas (1 paquete) de levadura seca activa
1 1/2 tazas de agua tibia (110°F o 45°C)
3 1/2 a 4 tazas de harina para todo uso
2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
1 cucharadita de sal
1 cucharadita de azúcar

Instrucciones:
Activar la levadura:
En un tazón pequeño, disuelve la levadura y el azúcar en el agua tibia. Deja reposar durante unos 5-10 minutos, hasta que la mezcla esté espumosa. Esto indica que la levadura está activa.

Mezclar los ingredientes:
En un tazón grande, combina 3 1/2 tazas de harina y la sal. Haz un hueco en el centro y vierte la mezcla de levadura y el aceite de oliva. Mezcla con una cuchara de madera hasta que la masa comience a formarse.

Amasar la masa:
Coloca la masa en una superficie ligeramente enharinada y amasa durante unos 8-10 minutos, hasta que la masa esté suave y elástica. Si la masa está demasiado pegajosa, añade más harina, una cucharada a la vez, hasta que obtenga la consistencia deseada.

- 1 1/2 oz sugar

- Dash of salt
- Oil for frying
Glaze:
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp hot water

1. Combine milk, boiling water, sugar, and yeast. Let it foam.
2. Mix flour, remaining sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
3. Add yeast mix and egg. Mix to form a smooth dough. Knead for 5-10 minutes.
4. Let rise for 1 hour.

2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt

For the Caramel Pecan Glaze:
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
½ cup shredded coconut (optional)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together sugar and flour.
In a saucepan, heat butter and buttermilk over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs, vanilla, baking soda, and salt.
