When people ask me what my design style is, I have a little trouble answering. I have a personal style that influences all of my designs, BUT every single one of my projects looks different because every one of my clients is different and their homes should reflect THEM, not me. Right now I'm working on a home and we just selected pink cabinets and it's probably one of my favorite projects. Your home should be unique!

I'm back from my maternity leave and have had the best time with my new precious baby girl. Slowly ramping things back up with my business, but I will be taking on a few new projects this summer, so if you are interested in getting started, book a free design consultation on my website.

Sharing a lovely install that was finished up last month for one of my Florida clients. This lovely vacation home bath remodel was such a fun project where we got to really show some personality and bring in some great materials that will be durable enough for a rental, while still looking drop dead gorgeous.

I have been MIA on Instagram for a while because we have been super busy over here! Finishing up a lot of amazing projects with my clients before heading out on maternity leave soon :)

Wanted to share this recent bathroom install project I worked on with a client up in Wisconsin. This was a full gut reno for her kids bathroom. All decisions made were based on functionality while also being a gorgeous and beautiful space. I love the custom bathroom vanity and always appreciate a wet room, especially for kids!

6 years of Transparent Interiors! I am SO thankful today for my business, my amazing clients who got me here, and all the wonderful people in my life who have supported me along the way.

Transparent Interiors has never been a traditional design firm. I don't have full time employees nor do I want them, I don't work weekends, I don't give out my personal phone number to clients, and I always prioritize my sleep. Many may look at my choices and say "well that was dumb..." and maybe they are right in a traditional sense, but I have developed a business that supports my personal goals. My business made it possible for me to work remotely and live abroad with my husband for 4 years and have some of the craziest adventures.

My design projects are my passion, my hobby, and my creative outlet. I am so thankful to all my clients who have trusted me with their homes and personal spaces. It has been a joy to work with all of you over the last 6 years and I cannot wait to see what the next 6 hold!

A well designed space does not mean a beautiful space. A well designed space is beautiful, but it is also intentional, functional, personal, and well thought out. In this photo alone, there were over 50 little decisions made to create this look. From the the fill of the pillow, the rub count of sofa fabric, to the subtle texture from the linen lampshade - each decision adds to the overall effect. But it's why I love this job :)

Transformation Tuesday! This Florida project was an empty slate and we had a lot of fun reimagining the potential of this formal entry and living room. With the focus on those gorgeous backyard views, we added the perfect layout to host guests and create that wow moment when you walk in the door!
