most days I work alone in my studio but last 2 evenings I had the pleasure to be a part of two lovely events, first was a vendor meet up The Outpost at Lake Norman , it was so fun to meet other local artists, talk about what I do and get some professional pics taken ( will post those later ), thank you Amy for putting it together, last evening was an art show Summit Coffee Wilmore where I got a chance to display my small but mighty collection of block prints, met so many amazing artists doing even more amazing work , so good to meet you all Sophia Lyne

August is an interesting time, summer is winding down, the flurry of activities of kids and their friends being home is coming to an end , vacations lare done … There is a bit of a vacuum in my heart and I always remember the “ good old days when my boys were little”, I consciously have to remind myself that THESE are the Good old days ♥️To breathe, enjoy and accept all changes as stages of life, I read somewhere that these are chapters in our lovely book of life, one chapter gets over and we should be excited to read the next one , coffee and printing in my studio definitely helped, and the sweet comforting presence of Rey , let me know what you do to make yourself accept changes gracefully
