Some colors come and go. Merlot is not one of them. šŸ·

Thereā€™s something about these deep, wine-soaked shades of burgundy that feels both timeless and completely current. Itā€™s rich without being heavy, moody without being dark, and it brings an instant warmth to a room, especially this time of year.

We love layering it in unexpected ways: a grasscloth ceiling, velvet dining chairs, a whisper of plum on the walls. It plays beautifully with brass, crisp whites, and a bold piece of art, and it never stops feeling elevated.

A classic for a reason. Swipe through a few of my favorite merlot moments.

No two of my days ever look the same. Between installs, client meetings and whatever the day decides to throw at me, consistency just isnā€™t part of my workday, so I protect my mornings.

Up early. Coffee. Let George out. Fresh air. Then right back into bed.

And yes, I scroll. I know not everyoneā€™s a fan of morning scrolling, but itā€™s the only quiet, mindless window I get all day. Itā€™s also where my to-do list comes together before everything else takes over.

A city has to be extra special for me to visit twice. Madrid made the list.

As a Sagittarius, Iā€™m naturally curious to see the world, and there is so much still on my list. But this beautiful, art-filled city pulled me back, and I called it home for a few days.
