This coming weekend Aultman Woodworks will participate, for the 4th year, in the Myrtle Beach Art in the Park. This is a great show with a wide variety of arts and crafts, and the weather is predicted to be warm and sunny. Our space is on the square across the street from the Seacoast Artists Gallery. We look forward to seeing you!

I have been playing around with some diversity in my product line and also to use some different woodworking skills. It’s fun!! This piece can be used as a wall hanging, displayed on an easel, or however you want to use it. I will have it at ART IN THE PARK, Myrtle Beach on April 18 & 19 (more info to come on the show). After recently making that large carving board, I decided to make a couple of smaller boards with juice grooves. These will be perfect for slicing and dicing juicy fruits and vegetables. They are, of course, hand crafted by me (😊), have a food safe finish, and bumpers to prevent slipping and protect your countertop. One is walnut and one is elm, both beautiful woods.
They are available at aultmanwoodworks.com and I will have them at Art in the Park in Myrtle Beach Market Common on April 18 & 19.

I thought it was time for another carving board, so that’s what I did! This one is made from highly figured walnut with a food safe finish, generously wide and deep juice groove, hardware handles for easy transport and rubber bumpers to protect your furniture. It’s too late for this year’s Easter ham (Easter came so early this year 😁), so you will be ready for next year and for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year!
This board will be available in my online store at aultmanwoodworks.com then at the Myrtle Beach Art in the Park on April 18-19.

There it is—Catawba Falls Events! The perfect place for your perfect wedding!

I’ve watched this moment more times than I can count. It never gets old.

That walk into cocktail hour. Shoulders finally drop. Hands find each other again. And just like that, the day shifts from planning to celebrating.

You can feel it in the air. The laughter picks up. Glasses clink. Your people are all right there, ready to celebrate you.

And me. I’m usually standing off to the side thinking, “this is exactly how it’s supposed to feel.”

Unrushed. Joyful. And fully yours.

The setting of this venue is idyllic and perfect for a wedding and making a lifetime memory.

Summer is right around the corner. And we can feel it already.

Longer days. Fuller trees. That light coming through the canopy just right.

There’s something about a ceremony by the water this time of year. It feels easy. It feels alive.

Our swing sits tucked into the trees, surrounded by ferns, stone, and just enough quiet to slow the day down for a minute.
