A comfortable bed with beautiful, cozy bedding, a comfortable lounge chair for sitting back and watching TV, a good book to pick up and read, thoughtful lighting, plenty of space to unpack, and all those little touches that make your guests feel right at home.

You do not need to have your house figured out before you call me. Actually, I’d prefer you didn’t.

You don’t need to know your exact style, have every inspiration photo organized into a perfectly curated Pinterest board, or be able to explain why your kitchen drives you absolutely insane. You just need to tell me how you live.

Where everyone drops their stuff. What never gets put away.
Where the dog sleeps. What room nobody uses. What you’re constantly walking around, reaching over, or quietly cursing under your breath.

My job isn’t to take a perfectly formed vision and make it pretty. It’s to ask the right questions, figure out what isn’t working, and design a home that makes your everyday life a whole lot easier. The pretty side of things is a bonus.

A day in the life of an Interior Designer: running to TWO different paint stores to find the perfect shade of paint that matches your tile. 😂

Because sometimes the difference between “close enough” and exactly right is a few dozen paint samples, a lot of natural light, and refusing to settle.

Job site visit today on our Southside project, and WOW… so much progress has been made, and it’s so exciting to see everything starting to come together.

The floors are officially stained, tile is in, and the kitchen countertops and cabinetry are installed! We’re also moving right along with painting, getting light fixtures installed, cabinet hardware, and adding the vertical shiplap in the stairwell area.

We’re getting closer and closer to the fun part, furniture, window treatments, and more!! Hopefully, we’ll be ready to start bringing it all in within the next few weeks. 🤍

Every finished project starts long before installation day.

It begins with conversations, sketches, measurements, samples spread across the table, countless decisions, and a vision that’s carefully refined over time.

The reveal is exciting, but watching every detail come together is what makes the process so rewarding. That’s where the magic really happens.

Fall is starting to be in the air, and that means I’m ready to switch up some of my seasonal home decor and get my house feeling like fall! 🍂

I know that in the design world, seasonal decor can sometimes get a bad reputation for feeling tacky or cheap. But I think there are ways to decorate for the season while still keeping your home feeling elevated and timeless.

For me, it’s all about keeping things simple. Neutral tones, a simple color palette, pumpkins, fall leaves, natural textures, and a few seasonal touches throughout the home.

You don’t have to completely transform your house for every season. Sometimes a few thoughtful changes are all it takes to make your home feel ready for fall while still looking like your home. 🍂

The biggest misconception about hiring an interior designer?

That it’s all about picking paint colors and pretty pillows.
In reality, we’re making hundreds of decisions behind the scenes, from reviewing layouts and coordinating finishes to solving problems before they become expensive mistakes. Every detail is considered so your home feels cohesive, functional, and uniquely yours.

Just gotta keep working at it. The low times in between projects and waiting to hear back from people are so hard.
A lot of people will end up ghosting, decide they’re not ready to start, or just go with someone else which can be discouraging but it’s all part of the business. Finding the right clients for you and getting that steady work flow is the hardest part of starting a new business but I know I’m gonna get there eventually!
