If you know me, you know I LOVE stripes and the color blue! So naturally, I am very excited about this little refresh we have in the works.

Bench cushions, new bedding, a layered rug, and a few more special touches are coming together to give this space a fresh new look. I can’t wait to see it all come together!

After months and months of waiting, we were finally able to install the dreamiest sideboard I’ve ever seen!

The curved edge detail, the color, the overall design… absolutely spectacular. I cannot get over how perfectly it complements the rest of the room. And paired with those lamps?! It’s truly the statement piece this dining room needed.

And just like that, this dining room is officially complete!

Happy Monday! 🤍 We’re kicking off the week with a site visit to our Downtown Southside renovation!

Tile is in all of the bathrooms, the floors are down and ready to be stained, and our interior doors and kitchen cabinetry have arrived. And if all goes according to plan, all of that will start going in this week!

Here are a few little snippets of the progress so far. I seriously cannot wait to share this renovation with you guys! It’s going to be a good one.

Do designers cost money? Yes. (Of course we do, it’s how we make a living.)

But can building a house without design guidance also cost you money? Absolutely!!!!! Between change orders, missed details, decision fatigue, and expensive mistakes, those costs add up quickly.

Our job isn’t just to fluff pillows and select paint colors, it’s to help create a home that feels cohesive, intentional, and well thought out from the start. We’re here to help guide the process, advocate for you, and hopefully save you from the
“wait... why didn’t anyone catch that earlier?” moments.

This bedroom makeover was all about creating a space that feels a little more grown-up, a little more sophisticated, but still feels like her.

We wanted to move away from a room that felt like it belonged to a little girl and create something she could actually grow into layered, timeless, and full of personality without feeling too “grown up.”
