A SMALL HANDMADE PIECE CAN ADD A LOT OF PERSONALITY.

I love how a small vase can change a simple corner of a room. Add a few stems, set it on a stack of books, and suddenly the space feels a little more interesting.

And with handmade pottery, there is always something to notice. The shape, the texture, the way the glaze moves from soft turquoise into deeper blues.

Sometimes the smallest pieces make the biggest difference. 💙

N E U T R A L S O R C O L O R ?

Same thumbprint tumblers. Two very different personalities.

Some days I’m drawn to the soft, earthy neutrals. Other days, I want all the blues, greens and glaze movement I can get.

That’s one of my favorite things about making pottery. The same simple form can feel completely different depending on the glaze.

So which side are you on?

This vase reminds me of one of my favorite color combinations in nature. The blues of a mountain lake mixed with all the earthy greens and browns of the forest.

I love how the glazes moved and overlapped on this one creating a little landscape without really trying.

This sweet little mug was made for wrapping your hands around while sipping your morning coffee or tea.

I’m planning a mug making week in the studio because fall is getting closer, and nothing says cooler mornings quite like a handmade mug filled with something warm. ☕️🍂

A landscape you can hold.

One of my favorite things about pottery is that a mug can become more than a mug.

This one reminds me of mountain skies, red cliffs, and the quiet colors you notice when you slow down.

That’s the beauty of handmade. Every piece tells its own story.

The bowl that does it all.

I love making bowls because they never have just one purpose. Breakfast one day. Fresh greens and tomatoes the next. Pasta, popcorn, peaches, or simply sitting on the counter waiting for whatever comes next.

The best handmade pieces aren’t reserved for special occasions. They make ordinary days feel a little more special.
