Some of the most memorable buildings on a college campus are the ones students call home.

Opened in Fall 2025, McCasland Hall was designed to enhance the first year student experience at the The University of Oklahoma. The new residence hall provides a welcoming place for students to live, learn, and build community during their first year on campus.

A custom red brick mingle helps tie the building to OU's established architectural character, creating a residence hall that feels at home on campus from day one.

It's a great example of why colleges and universities continue to choose brick. Beyond durability and longevity, brick helps create a cohesive campus identity and a sense of place that can be felt across generations of students.

A new chapter for downtown Fort Worth, built in brick.

The Texas A&M University new Law and Education Building is more than a home for classrooms, offices, and a new law library. The nine-story building serves as the academic anchor of the future Texas A&M University School of Law Fort Worth campus and the growing Switchyard Innovation District.

Manufactured at Acme Brick's Denton, Texas plant, approximately 361,000 Quorum blend brick help define the building's exterior. The textured blend of burgundy and gray brings warmth, depth, and a sense of permanence to a project designed to shape Fort Worth's future.

As the first completed building on the new campus, the Law and Education Building reflects how timeless materials can support forward-looking design.

Brick Boy's beach vacation was a success!

This past weekend, our Houston team was proud to support the AIA Houston Chapter Sandcastle Competition in Galveston, one of the most creative and entertaining events of the year.

From incredible sand sculptures and friendly competition to great conversations with architects and contractors, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A special shoutout to Tony, Natalia, Kelley, and the entire Central and South Texas team for representing Acme Brick and helping make the day memorable. Between the high-fives, photo ops, and meeting new friends, Brick Boy had a great day at the beach.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the event and for making the Galveston Sandcastle Competition so great! 🏰

A fresh perspective on a familiar material.

The latest art installation in Sundance Square Alley by Raquel Rodrigo and Arquicostura Studio demonstrates how great design often starts with what’s already there.

Using hand-embroidered cotton thread mounted on a nearly invisible metal mesh, the artwork is designed to appear as though it floats directly on the brick surface. Rather than covering the wall, the installation embraces it, allowing the texture, color, and character of the masonry to remain an essential part of the composition.

We love seeing the timeless backdrop of Acme brick incorporated so intentionally into contemporary public art.
