Not my typical Tree Farm Post 🏠🐾 A little project close to home and our hearts.
Some of you may know our story, and some may not. About five months ago, our home burned down, and we’ve been working through the long process of rebuilding our lives and getting back on our feet one day at a time.
One of the hardest parts has been figuring out what to do with our two basset hounds, Cookie & Tio. 🐶🐶 Our current rental doesn’t allow them, so we decided to put our construction skills to work and build them a home of their own.
So, we built The Basset Estate. 😂🏠🐾
We also own a construction company very small business by the name of E&M builders We build custom homes for our clients, but this was our very first doghouse and honestly, we may have gone a little overboard. 😂 It’s nearly finished, with insulation still to come, but seeing it come together has been pretty special.
This little project is also the beginning of something we want to share more of here at Champion Greens . Along with the work we do for our clients, we’re going to start sharing more of our own construction projects, including our new build and the journey of rebuilding our home and our lives after the fire.
Construction isn’t always just about houses. Sometimes it’s about creating a safe place for the ones you love, starting over, and building something better one step at a time. ❤️
