Today we’re celebrating the mamas who do it all — the ones who ride through life with grit, grace, and a heart bigger than the Texas sky. From cheering in the stands to late-night talks at the kitchen table, moms are the steady hands and loving hearts that keep every herd together.

To the mothers, grandmas, bonus moms, aunties, and all the women who love and guide the children in their circle — thank you. Thank you for the lessons, the laughter, the strength, the prayers, and the unconditional love you pour into every little life around you.

Western roots teach us that family isn’t just who you’re born to — it’s who you show up for. And every child blessed enough to have a strong cowgirl spirit in their corner is richer because of it.

The Candy Cane Reindeer kitchen tree was one of my favorites. Cute custom reindeer, hand blown glass candy ornaments, and loads of glittery picks, it was just the right size to fit at the end of the counter with all of the vintage cookie jars and cast a soft glow in the kitchen when the lights were off and the house was quiet.

Found my Favs at Country Chicks Chickmas! There are so many vendors with the most amazing Christmas gift and decor selections. They’e open til 4pm today so there’s still plenty of time to get there!

Well, no amount of coffee is going to help Marty at this point. He didn’t fare too well in his storage box - no arns, no legs, no ears (tried hot glue and the ears fell right back off). Looks like the polar bears roughed him up a bit. Never fear, I’ll fish around in the box of magic tricks this weekend and he’ll be ready to sit at the top of the tree and keep watch over the College & Career Center on Monday.

The swap out started last week. We said goodbye to Halloween and hello to Thanksgiving in the Onalaska High School College & Career Center. Until next year Spooky Season! It’s Turkey time!
