Met a very special young lady recently, we met because we shared the loss of a very special family member. Hers was a beautiful black and white girl by the name of Lisa Marie, ours was of course Timber. She is doing something I greatly admire and plan to take on at The Beaded Woodchuck. She donates a portion of her sales of pet related items to the shelter that Lisa Marie came from. Timber had a very sweet, protective, and loving personality and I plan on trying to do a small part to honor that. I am going to attempt to make dog collars and personalize them with hand stamped name tags. Also making some jewelry with dog related "things" not exactly sure what those "things" will be right now. I'm thinking paw prints, dog bones, hand stamped dog tags and hearts. I want to personalize and change just a little, something that Trudy saw on a t-shirt. I want to use the phrase "OWNED, by a rescued dog" . Several gemstones are noted for their protective qualities. My jewelry will include some of those gems. Sapphire is supposed to be a very protective gem. The first 5.00 of every thing I sell will be donated to For The Luv of Dogz in Arizona, in Timber's memory. I almost forgot....Strawberries lol. Timbers favorite toy, until Bella came along was a squeeky strawberry. AB (after Bella) no more strawberries. (that's our girl). Thinking of calling these items "Timber's Sweet Strawberry Memorial Fund"
Any ideas or suggestions????
