Habitat Cape Cod is stronger because of the leadership, dedication, and unwavering support of our outgoing Chair of the Board of Directors, Peter Kimball. He has been a steady source of support and guidance for the board, our staff, and the Construction Committee, and has also chaired the Blitz Build Committee, overseeing the planning and completion of six successful Blitz Builds, with the seventh coming this September!

Peter’s wisdom, generosity, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our organization and on the families who now have the security of affordable homeownership. We are incredibly grateful for all he has done—and continues to do—for Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod.

A beautiful afternoon on Boston Harbor with so many of the people we’re fortunate to work alongside. Great conversations, plenty of laughs, and even better company.

Today was all about saying thank you.

As the window installation at Harvard’s Eliot House nears completion, with more than 800 windows installed, it felt like the perfect milestone to celebrate the crews and partnerships that have helped bring this remarkable renovation to life.

A huge thank you to Shawmut Design and Construction, Sunrise Erectors, and Harvard for trusting JB Sash & Door and Marvin to be part of the Eliot House renovation. We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a great team and to take a moment to celebrate the people and partnerships behind this project.

We also want to thank 3rd Alarm Wood Fired Pizza and Cookie Monstah Truck for helping us celebrate with some incredible pizza and ice cream.

Cheers to the final stretch of this phase!

We’re pleased to welcome Peter Kimball as our Business Development & Architectural Support Representative, further strengthening the architectural and design support available to project teams across the Cape & Islands.

Many throughout the Cape already know Peter from his years with M. Duffany Builders and the relationships he’s built within the local architecture, design, and construction community. His experience collaborating on custom residential projects makes him a trusted partner for architects and designers navigating product selection, specifications, and project planning.

Projects like La Victoire don’t come together because of one successful installation. They come together because months of planning, coordination, and collaboration make that final installation possible.

Watching the last arched Marvin windows go into place was more than another construction milestone - it was the result of months of planning, countless conversations, and a shared commitment from the entire project team.

As the window installation enters its final phase, it’s exciting to see another milestone in the transformation of this remarkable adaptive reuse project.
