I've talked about the arc of artistry before. Merging design artistry with business artistry is a trail not hiked with magical thinking. There's a deep dedication to learning craft, navigating the foreign language of business, the sweat of time in service of mentors, the learned vulnerability to admit you don't know something and the wherewital to dedicate all the time needed to learn and perfect that one task with curiosity. It's bravery to put yourself out there even though your work isn't exactly what you envision it to be yet.

Just trusting I was competent to see the task through was a massive mental step. Putting nervousness and anxiety at bay is a learned skill that anyone interested in being better at something can benefit from. Being ok with making a mistake is one secret to living a very full life.

I am so proud of the work that has been created in the past 22.5 years! I'm going to spend the month celebrating success. Not too many people get say they ran a multi-million dollar design company. I've surprised myself during this evolution and I hope you will celebrate with me as I share my personal before & afters- what MDG was when it started through two decades.

The work we do is extremely intimate. We have helped over 1300 clients reimagine their most important spaces. And I have always believed your home is what gives your body comfort and support so you can be the best version of yourself. I'm going to step back to realign my body so I can continue on to the next level of my creative journey nourished and reinvigorated.

Auto Immune Disease can be prevented. And I hope to share with you this journey because the connection between your home and health is so intertwined- we tend not to acknowledge when there is something wrong. I have now learned this first hand.

So please stay tuned and celebrate the end of over two decades of creativity. ❤️
