We are here at the garage, but we are not going to stay if nobody is setting up.

It is clear to us that this is not going to be a cold weather event. Lol

Giving it a chance regardless. If we don't see any real traffic by 8am, we will shut her down early.

Unless everyone is just waiting for it to warm up, we may close this down for today. We are here. Only two vendors showed early. Let us know now if you are intending to show later. If there isn't much activity, we will just give it a go again on the 28th.

It appears it is going to be reasonable temps on Sat, but could get chilly with rain. Dress warm. We don't have plug-ins for heaters and cannot allow open flame heaters. Additionally, we highly suggest bringing some form of your own lighting, as the garage is not intended to be illuminated for retail settings.

We are sorry to inform everyone that the Chesapeake Marketplace will be closed temporarily. As of now, we do not know if or when it may be reopened. We were informed that we would be required to pay fees to the city as well as the college that we previously were not incurring.

We will be looking into reopening next spring if we can generate enough interest to afford those fees. We greatly appreciate all of you that have supported the market this past year and we hope to find a way next spring to reopen.
