All finished! Back to its owner tomorrow!

Base is Toasted Oak Gel Stain by Heirloom Traditions All-In-One Paint, with Smoky Quartz glaze from Country Chic Paint applied sparingly with a lint-free cloth. Topcoat is Flat Out Flat by General Finishes. K***s are new from Ravinte.

Still here… still working… albeit slowly. Sales have pretty much stopped, or at least slowed to a snail’s pace. I picked up this dresser as a commission piece from someone who saw my work online. She had painted it black in college but wanted it redone for a natural wood look. I finished the stain portion today and will be adding a brown glaze for more depth, dimension, and to bring back a more earthy tone. Stay tuned!

All drawers lined with new crushed felt
Original hardware refinished in Dark Copper Metallic

It’s hard to tell in this picture, but I picked a deep, warm brown called Dark Horse to complement the wood tones in the raw wood drawer fronts.

Should be finished this weekend.
