Super excited to be picking up this funky mid century set this week! I hope it’s in good enough shape that all it needs is a good cleaning and polishing, but we will see once it gets home. While I still think I got a pretty good deal on it, this is probably the most I’ve spent on a set. It’s not my style but it’s very unique, eclectic, and I hope someone falls in love with it!

Color is Free Spirit by Mélange Paints - a gorgeous pale blue/green, reminiscent of a faded Tiffany’s box.

From scratched, dark, and dated… stripped, scrubbed, and sanded… paint washed and coated in liming and antiquing waxes… and she’s finally finished!

Slowly coming together… hope to have it finished up this weekend.

Adding liming wax and antiquing wax over the gel-stained finish for that weathered/driftwood/sunbleached effect.
