Today is baking day - the last 3 days were far too nice to be inside.

Except now the bread is ready to come out of the oven, and velcro baby is asleep on me.

Anyone else like making themselves unattainable to do lists?

This is one of my best qualities ;)

Here is the crochet portion of today's to do list, which is only a very small part of what I actually hope to accomplish. This is a big pile of unfinished projects that need sewing, eyes, and other various finishing touches.

Will update later with how much gets done.

Good morning! Can you smell these photos? 🤪

I can and boy are we excited. We skipped baking day on Monday because...sick kids. It seems like this winter we have only experienced a few healthy weeks 😳. It's kept us very busy, and a little cranky, but warmer days and fresh air are coming!

Confession: one of our toxic traits is never waiting for the bread to cool before cutting it. It's just too tempting, but it turns out fine anyhow.

Does anyone grow veggies inside through the winter? It's always seemed like too big of a commitment to me but thinking next year I may try 🤔
