Turning my hobby into a business has always been a dream of mine. For most of my life I knew I wanted to create my own business. I just wasn’t sure what type I would end up creating. I learned to crochet when I was 12 and made numerous blankets for myself and family members. Just in this last year I was introduced to spinning and man has that taken off! be videos on knitting and fell in love with it. Even though I was very intimidated and had only been knitting for a month or so I was able to sit down and knit my first sweater jacket. It’s funny though now after a year has gone by I’m a little bit more intimidated by lace shawls. The pattern seems easy enough but I’m having a bit of trouble with figuring out how to fix my little mess ups. I got sidetracked! So one day I went to a big spin in with my mother and we saw this lady who sold hand dyed braids. I would buy a couple each time I saw them and I thought to myself, “I can do this!” And so it all started. 2 braids became over 200 in all different color ways. Wool and dyes keep flying into my environment and hopefully they will be flying into yours!
