What makes a home feel good isn’t just how it looks. It’s how it supports your everyday life.

It’s the small things… a warm welcome when you walk in, soft light in the morning, a quiet corner where you can sit and think. It’s having space to breathe, to relax, and to enjoy simple moments at home.

When a home is designed well, everything just feels easier.

If your home doesn’t feel like this yet, it might be time to rethink your space.

👉 Book a Discovery Call and let’s design a home that truly feels good to live in.

Green is one of the most powerful colors you can use in your home, because it doesn’t just look good, it changes how a space feels.

Psychologically, green is tied to balance, restoration, and calm. It’s the color we associate with nature, which is why it can make a room feel more grounded and livable almost instantly.

In design terms, it’s also incredibly flexible: it can read fresh and airy, rich and moody, classic and timeless—depending on the undertone and the finish.

A few ways green tends to show up best:
• Soft sages for bedrooms and baths when you want that relaxing energy
• Olive + moss tones for cozy, collected living spaces
• Deep forest greens for dramatic offices, libraries, or dining rooms
• Green in tile/cabinetry when you want a statement that still feels natural

Swipe through for the deeper breakdown—what green communicates, how it affects your home, and where to use it so it feels intentional in your home.

Do I need a designer if I already have a builder?

If you want a home that’s well-built, your builder is essential.

If you want a home that’s well-built and beautifully cohesive, that’s where a designer changes the entire experience.

A builder manages construction, schedule, and ex*****on. A designer manages the decisions that make the build feel intentional, before the jobsite gets loud.

Here’s what that looks like in real life:
• A clear vision early so selections aren’t being made under pressure
• Layouts + sightlines that support how you live (not just where things fit)
• Finish coordination across cabinetry, stone, tile, lighting, plumbing, and hardware
• 2D plans + 3D renders to reduce guessing and protect the budget from midstream pivots
• Detailed FF&E schedules that keep trades align and reduce change orders

The best projects aren’t “builder vs. designer.” They’re builder + designer—working in sync—so the process is smoother and the result feels elevated from every angle.

If you’re building or renovating and want decisions handled with clarity and intention, let’s start with a Discovery Call.

Every project starts with a vision before anything is built or placed. ✨

These mood boards represent the vision to transform a space into a completely different end use from its purpose as a current garage, and reimagine it into something functional, social, and personal. Each zone was designed with intention - from entertaining to relaxing to everyday living.

Instead of looking at it from the perspective of one large room, we focused on how the entire space could work together as a connected experience.

This is where ideas become direction, and direction becomes design. 🏡

Stay tuned as this concept moves from inspiration to reality.

If you want your home feeling ready for Fall, Summer is the time to start.

Because once back-to-school hits, calendars fill fast—sports, activities, and earlier mornings. That’s when home projects tend to stall… or get rushed.

Starting now gives you breathing room to:
• make thoughtful decisions (without the pressure)
• order materials with realistic lead times
• schedule the right trades
• and finish before the season gets busy

Whether it’s a kitchen refresh, a bath upgrade, built-ins, or a bigger renovation plan, Summer momentum sets you up for a calmer Fall at home.

If you want to be enjoying your space by the time the first hoodie comes out, let’s start planning now. ✨

New project kickoff: a kid room → teen “NYC loft” transformation. 🏙️

This pre-teen is stepping into his teenage years and wanted his bedroom to match - more sleek, mature, and a little moody in the best way.

The vision:

*a statement Brooklyn Bridge/skyline mural behind the bed
*clean, streamlined furniture with distressed black wood and mixed materials
*a dedicated homework workspace (desk + shelving) that actually works day-to-day
*layered texture (think subtle leather details + metal art)
*and yes… an NYC LED sign because personality belongs in the plan

Real-life constraints are part of the design (always): the bed location stays put, the mural wall is the best focal point, and the window/closet layout means blinds over curtains, so we’re making every choice count.

I’ll be sharing the final space soon and how we made this layout work without moving the bed, so come check back here later. It’s going to be quite the transformation!

K***s and pulls are small, but they do a lot of heavy lifting—functionally and visually.

In kitchens and bathrooms, it is one of the most frequently touched elements, which means your choice affects daily comfort, usability, and overall style.

K***s, pulls, and newer integrated options all serve different purposes, and understanding these basics is the first step to creating cabinetry that feels intentional and well-designed.

From sizing and placement to choosing between k***s, pulls, or a mix of both, every detail helps shape how your space looks and works. The right combination can make cabinetry feel more custom, balanced, and thoughtfully finished.

Swipe through for a simple guide to cabinet hardware types, sizing, and styling options to help you choose with confidence.

If you’re planning a renovation or new build, hardware shouldn’t be an afterthought. It’s one of the details that makes everything feel finished. ✨
