A powder room may be one of the smallest spaces in a home, but it can carry some of the biggest personality.

A richly patterned wallcovering brings movement and character, the vanity adds depth and contrast, and the stone and metal finishes give the room a polished, collected feel.

That’s the beauty of a space like this: it gives design the opportunity to be a little bolder, a little more scenic, and a little more unexpected. When scale is limited, the details have to work harder... and here, they do exactly that.

Smaller footprint. Stronger presence. Lasting impression.

The most memorable interiors are not built on sameness, but on harmony.

In this home, each space carries its own voice: a powder room wrapped in dramatic floral pattern and warm metallic detail, a living area grounded by stone, texture, and form, and art moments that give the architecture a stronger point of view. Nothing feels arbitrary. Each material, finish, and object contributes to a larger sense of cohesion.

That is where design becomes more than decoration. It becomes a way of shaping atmosphere, layering boldness with calm, softness with structure, and collected pieces with a clear visual rhythm.

The result is a home that feels elevated, deeply personal, and quietly assured.

Reinvention of space. Redefinition of self.

This Erie residence reflects what happens when a meaningful design transforms more than the look of a room. It changes the way a home feels to live in. Across living spaces, baths, bedrooms, and outdoor areas, each environment was approached with a clear sense of mood, material, and proportion.

The result is cohesive without feeling uniform, refined without feeling distant. Soft neutrals, blended textures, and tailored forms create a home that feels contemporary, personal, and deeply livable from one space to the next.

Every room considered. Every detail intentional.

Some spaces don’t need to shout to make an impact. They just need the right architecture, the right balance, and the right sense of calm.

Take a look at this primary bedroom transformation in Hinsdale, where an already generous room was reimagined into a more tailored, immersive retreat. The focus was on refining the room’s character and giving it a stronger architectural presence without sacrificing comfort.

A beautifully articulated ceiling treatment adds depth overhead, custom millwork and wall paneling create rhythm and structure, and the softened palette gives the room a quieter, more elevated feel. The end result is warm, grounded, and intentional... a bedroom designed not only to look beautiful, but to feel restorative at every hour of the day.

The best design often comes from restraint. Reflective proportion. Subtle texture. Materials and finishes that work together instead of competing for attention. Here, every move was made to turn scale into intimacy and openness into atmosphere.

Calmer. Richer. More refined.

During our visit to Carrara, Italy, hosted by .stone, we had the opportunity to experience the scale, craftsmanship, and enduring beauty behind the stone slabs that shape so many interiors.

Seeing these materials at the source offers a deeper understanding of how natural pattern, movement, and color will ultimately live within a space. What begins as raw stone becomes something architectural, expressive, and lasting through careful selection and a clear design vision.

It’s a reminder that the design process often starts long before a finished room... sometimes in the places where the materials themselves begin.

Thank you to .stone for an inspiring trip and collaboration.

The most enduring interiors are never built around trend alone.

They are shaped by proportion, materiality, and a point of view that continues to feel relevant long after the moment has passed. That is what timeless design asks for: thoughtful choices, carefully layered, and resolved with clarity.

The result is not about excess, but about balance; essence and structure, pattern and freedom, beauty and function working in quiet harmony.

A kitchen defined by clarity, warmth, and restraint.

In this Aspen townhouse, the kitchen balances clean architectural lines with materials that bring depth and softness to the space. Warm wood cabinetry, crisp surfaces, integrated lighting, and a sense of proportion come together to create a room that feels highly functional and quietly refined.

What makes a kitchen like this so successful is its precision. Every surface, opening, and transition is considered so the space feels cohesive at every angle whether viewed up close in the details or as part of the larger home.

Streamlined. Tailored. Beautifully resolved.

Every space begins with a vision, but bringing that vision to life takes measurement, coordination, and a close eye on every detail.

Here’s an early look at our showhouse taking shape at THE MART, as Lindsay, Peyton, and Reneh walk the space, evaluate the layout, and refine the details in real time while construction moves forward around them.

It’s still early, but the foundation is there, and we’re excited to share more as the showroom continues to come together.

A new chapter is taking shape.

Join us for The Showhouse @ THE MART on May 20 for the RHA Charity Preview.
