• the summer after my mom died we took a trip to see my family in Seattle • while there i had the transformative pleasure of seeing my first Warhol retrospective at SAM • that moment transformed my life • to be surround by the immense genius of Warhol opened my eyes to the possibility of creativity • it solidified my reliance on art as therapy in my life • it restored me • healed me • and gave me a purpose like i had never experienced before • years later, while growing my company, i had the pleasure of working with this client and her Warhol • to build a space for Mick is still one of my all time favorite work memories • it felt important • it felt full circle • and it still does • life also gave me the chance to live blocks from the Warhol museum in Pittsburgh for seven years • i got spoiled by access to my greatest creative hero and will always look back at those seven years with love for that experience alone • blessings are always counted • opportunities never lost • gratitude always given •

'Open Book' was a fantastic project to put together and I hope you have as much fun reading the article as we had developing and actualizing this project!
