The Assignment: Plan a four day destination wedding experience for two snow loving, hiking obsessed adventurers, living in two different states while completing their residencies. Did we mention they’re also badass ER doctors?! 🏔️❄️

We searched across the U.S. for the perfect place to bring everyone together. Ultimately, the search took us a little farther north, to Banff and the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs. 🇨🇦

Four days. One epic destination. An experience completely their own.

A color palette should tell a story. 🤍

For this celebration, we layered warm neutrals with soft mauves and abundant greens to create a design that felt understated, organic, and deeply personal. Every floral moment, from the ceremony through the reception, was intentionally connected, allowing the story to unfold naturally throughout the day.

One of our favorite details honored the groom's Turkish heritage. Each bud vase was designed in an authentic Turkish tea cup, a meaningful nod to his roots that also became a keepsake for each member of their immediate family.

The most memorable palettes aren't the boldest or the trendiest. They're the ones that reflect the couple and weave their story into every thoughtful detail.

When guests arrive, they see effortless beauty.

What they don't see? The 4:00 AM call time, hundreds of stems, countless candles, strategic timelines, and a wedding team moving with absolute precision behind the scenes.

This celebration transformed in just 90 minutes—from a heartfelt ceremony to a completely reimagined reception space, all while guests enjoyed cocktail hour without ever realizing the choreography happening just beyond the doors.

These room flips require far more than beautiful flowers. They demand thoughtful planning, intentional design, precise production, and a team that knows how every moving piece works together.

For CJDE, planning, design, logistics, and florals are never treated as separate services. One year already. 💖🧡💛

Lindsay & Claude’s wedding will always hold a special place in our hearts. Not only did we have the honor of planning and designing their celebration, but Brent and I also officiated their ceremony—one of the greatest privileges of our careers.

And can we talk about the palette? Bold, playful, unapologetically full of personality... complete with neon, graphics galore, and every colorful detail you could dream up. It was so them—a celebration that embraced color, personality, and joy at every turn.

Lindsay is also one of Chicago’s most talented stationers, so it came as no surprise that every detail was intentional, thoughtful, and beautifully designed.

Happy first anniversary to two dear friends. We love you both—and can’t wait to see what you dream up next. 🥂
