What happens when flowers, community, and purpose come together? 🌸

Southside Blooms traveled to Los Angeles to partner with Every Day Action, a nonprofit doing incredible food recovery work for communities experiencing hunger across LA.

Together, we created floral arrangements for their gala while launching our new initiative:
💛 Flowers For Good

This campaign allows nonprofits across the country to raise money through flower sales. Supporters purchase flowers for occasions like Mother’s Day, anniversaries, and Valentine’s Day — and participating nonprofits receive 20% of the proceeds to support their mission.

Meanwhile, our youth floral designers, Brandon and Molina, continue gaining real-world experience, leadership skills, and opportunities beyond Chicago.

This was our first formal event outside Chicago, and we’re excited about what’s ahead. 🌿

What began as a local opportunity at Southside Blooms became a life-changing experience for Brandon as he traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to create floral work at the EDA Warehouse.
