Fireplace Mantle Restoration: Step 1- Stripping

A beautifully restored Mobican Danish Modern Teak Gentlemen’s Chest. Clean lines, integrated pulls, and that unmistakable warmth of teak—this piece balances functional storage with timeless design.

Crafted in Canada in the early 2000s, it features five smooth-gliding drawers and a roomy cabinet behind a bookmatched door. We refinished it by hand to bring out the depth and character of the grain without compromising its original charm.

Always a pleasure to work with pieces like this—where the design does most of the talking.
