I’ve spent a few weeks away from social media. Some people I have spoken to and made clear my plans of what I want to create moving forward with my wood working. Some of you this will come as a bit of a surprise. But I am creating my own charcuterie and cutting boards from lumber that has been milled locally. What this means is I will be creating something that is of my own design, start to finish. I can still engrave but I am going to focus more towards bringing out the natural beauty of the wood that I am working with. No 2 boards will ever be the same and this is not something that’s going to be found on the shelf at your local retail store. If you’ve been looking for something Special, Custom made and One of a kind for a bridal gift, groomsmen gift or for Mother’s Day, look no further. Father’s Day is a little further away but never too early to shop for any of them. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions. I can create just about anything and I have a lot of different lumber currently on hand including Black Walnut, Maple, and Oak. Things with Eastern Red Cedar, Hickory, Cherry and other locally sourced lumber can be acquired in a few days. So just because I don’t have it on hand doesn’t mean I couldn’t complete a project for you in a timely manner!

A Beautiful Door Sign made of recycled Barn Wood
The sign pictured is made up of 4 boards and measures 22 inches Long by 13.5-14 inches wide.

I also do signs with 3 Boards and 2 Boards, just ask for a quote. You can have them personalized any way you like, they can be vertical, or horizontal as in the photo.

The layout for the sign pictured is a horizontal configuration, with split Family name top and bottom and centered is 3 distinct animal designs
These can feature a sports team logo, animal design, if your house is divided..I can have both sports teams added, you’r choice. You can get with me to discuss different fonts that can be used and how that would look on the project.

These are all made custom/engraved and won’t be something you can find at your local shopping center.

Just a few of the ones I’ve completed. All designs can be enlarged, shrunken and moved around. These are the different boards that I have on hand. If you have a “favorite” cutting board of your own and would like a design put on it prices start at 25.00 and you pay for shipping to and from. Reminder I can engrave on boards that Are no thicker than 1.7 inches, and can’t be wider than 20 inches.

14x20 inches and 3/4 inch thick Grooved Bamboo Cutting Board

I can put any college logo on that you want, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Duke, UNC, Clemson just to name a few. Of those colleges I have several different designs for each, just ask. I can shrink the design down and move it around or have it enlarged in the center of the board, you decide.
Turnaround Time to build everything from scratch is usually 1-2 days and that includes treating the boards with mineral oil/beeswax and vitamin E mixture I like to use. I can have them shipped within 2 business days after order is placed.
