It’s been a while since I’ve posted. I haven’t been able to make anything for the past few months because everything is stored away. As you know we moved everything to KY. However, we were unable to find steady employment. So I drove back and forth to OH for a couple months just to work. And now after all we did down there, the KY transportation department contacted us saying that they were putting a highway through the area and will, more than likely need our property to do so. (That would’ve been nice to know when we were looking at the property). But now that I have steady employment here in OH we have re-relocated back home where we’re staying at different campgrounds until our rental is ready. Should be the 1st of Sept. Once we get settled in, I will be able to start creating again. Thank you to all of you that follow!!!

Since my last post. Our shelter logic shed got ripped apart and blown away during the last wind storm. I had put everything that was in it, into the home/office I am building. And since I don’t have the materials yet for the walls and roof I had to buy a couple commercial grade tarps to keep everything dry.

Then yesterday as I was starting some other small projects, when my table saw decided to stop working. That’s really going to keep me from being able to do the extra little projects I like to do in my downtime. So now there’s not much else to do other than clean up the property.

On another note, I have been unsuccessful in finding employment down here. I’m still driving 5 hrs a day to work when I have it, so that doesn’t leave much time to do anything else while working.

Hopefully 🙏🏻 things will turn around and I’ll be able move forward with something soon.

Washed all the nasty floor boards from the old barn. And after installing temporary supports, I installed them as our attic floor and covered them with a commercial grade tarp to keep them dry. Now to get 20’ 6x6’s to support the attic floor and ridge. Once they are in, I can install the ridge and roof rafters from the old barn.
