This past weekend we were proud to take part in the Colors of Hope event benefiting NAMI Southern Ohio.

This is an event that means a lot to our community, raising awareness and funds to support mental health resources right here in Southern Ohio. We’re grateful to everyone who organized, participated, and came out to support such an important cause.

Two members of the Chillicothe Carpet family laced up their shoes and ran the 5K—Tia (owner) and Heath (installer). It was great to see them out there representing not only our team, but also showing support for a cause that impacts so many lives.

We also had other team members attend the event to cheer, support, and be part of the day together. It’s always a good reminder that what we do outside of work matters just as much as what we do inside it.

Meet Chase — and if you’ve been around Chillicothe Carpet for a while, you might already recognize him in a different role.

Chase is a third-generation owner of Chillicothe Carpet, continuing a family legacy that’s been built right here in our community. In 2023, Chase and his wife Tia officially purchased the business, stepping into ownership with a clear goal: keep it local, keep it honest, and keep customers at the center of everything.

Before becoming co-owner, Chase was on the install side of the business—working hands-on as part of the team under the previous family ownership (his uncle). That background matters. It means he’s seen flooring from every angle: from the first measurements to the final install in a customer’s home.

Today, that experience shows in how he approaches every customer interaction. Chase is focused on making sure people feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their flooring choices—no pressure, no confusion, just straightforward help from someone who truly understands the process.

If you see him in-store or out on a job, feel free to say hello. He’s usually thinking about the next way to make the experience a little easier for the customer in front of him.
