Tomorrow is Book Club Painting Night at The Grove Pottery! 📚🎨

This stacked book piece is my newest creation, and I’m so excited to have it out for tomorrow’s event. I’ve been looking forward to this one, and we still have a few spots available if you want to join us!

We’ll have an assortment of bookish pottery pieces available on a first come, first served basis, so grab a friend and come spend a cozy, bookish evening painting with us from 5–9 PM.

☕ Snacks, lattes & dirty sodas available to purchase
🥡 Outside food & drinks are welcome
📖 Optional book exchange — bring a wrapped new or like-new book if you’d like to participate

One of our amazing customers absolutely understood the assignment. 🫖✨

We are OBSESSED with how this hand-painted teapot turned out! Every side has a different little detail, and somehow it just keeps getting better the more you look at it. From the striped handle to the characters tucked all around—and even inside and underneath—this one is seriously a work of art.

One of our favorite things about pottery painting is seeing what you all come up with. You can keep it simple, copy an inspiration piece, or go completely down the rabbit hole with your own idea. 😉🐇

Join us Saturday, August 22nd from 5–9 PM for a cozy night of pottery painting, books, good drinks, and fellow readers. Bring your book club, your reading bestie, or come on your own and meet some new bookish friends!

And we’re adding something extra this time… a BOOK EXCHANGE! 📖🎁

If you’d like to participate, bring a wrapped new or like-new book. We’ll swap them during the evening, so you’ll get to go home with a surprise new read! Participating in the exchange is completely optional, so you’re more than welcome to come just to paint and hang out.

With Rowan County heading back to school tomorrow, summer hours are wrapping up around here too! 🎒🎨

Today is the LAST DAY of our earlier summer hours, so if you’ve been wanting to sneak in an afternoon of painting before school starts, come see us!

Our Buy 1 Regular-Priced Piece, Get a Kids’ Piece HALF OFF special isn’t going anywhere just yet, though — we’re keeping it going through the end of August! 🙌

We’re a small, family-owned business, which means we’re doing the back-to-school shuffle right along with so many of you.

We’ve got kids heading back to school, lunches to pack, schedules to juggle, and all the normal craziness that comes with this time of year. 😂
