My favorite thing about this business? The people it’s brought into my life that I never expected. 🫶🏻

When I bought Shores Floral, I lost a few friendships along the way. And believe it or not, not everyone was cheering me on. That part wasn’t always easy.

But what I gained? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Customers who became friends. Friends who became family. People who turned into some of our biggest cheerleaders—the kind who cheer so dang loud that eventually, you forget about the ones who didn’t. ❤️

Today I received the sweetest surprise from someone we are really going to miss around our community. And apparently even the flower lady likes getting surprised with flowers, too. 😉💐

It was such a simple reminder of how incredibly grateful I am for the people this little flower shop has placed in my life.

So here’s to a great week, friends. To unexpected friendships, to people who believe in you, and especially to the ones standing in your corner cheering loudly. Those are the people worth holding onto. 🫶🏻

Just a few of the beauties waiting to be enjoyed this week… and apparently this week’s flower order understood the assignment. 😍

Bold lilies, funky fall hydrangeas, pops of lime green, happy gerberas, creamy carnations—and even some gorgeous fall foliage because we like our flowers with a little personality around here. 🍂🌿

🌸 CONFESSION FROM THE BOSS LADY: I learned a loooong time ago that I am NOT a gardener. 😂

Working all summer long for one single strawberry and a couple pepper plants just wasn’t the kind of return on investment I was looking for. 🍓🌶️🤣

BUT… turns out I can grow flowers! 🙌🌸 And honestly, that feels much more on brand anyway.

I’ve been enjoying these pretties at home all summer, and this week I decided it was time to bring a few into the shop and let them join the fun. There’s just something extra special about flowers you grew yourself. 🥹

Ashley and I are already hard at work playing with blooms, dreaming up new combinations, and bringing you fresh, fun, slightly-out-of-the-ordinary creations to enjoy all week long. 💐

The garden may never feed my family… but apparently it CAN help stock the flower shop. 😂🌼
