Had a repair guy stop at my table and exclaim “YOU TWIST THOSE?!!” And then ask all kinds of questions.
You can see all the various steps in this picture
The Swedish advent stars start out as a pound of reed used for basket weaving, cut down to size. They are glued (set aside to dry)
Ends are wet (set aside to dry)
Glued again (set aside to dry)
And then two halves are put together and glued (set aside to dry😊)
It’s a tedious process, but it produces something absolutely gorgeous!

2 gallon, hands free berry/garden basket. Lots of people say to me that my regular berry picking basket is too small for them. This one should take care of that!!
