Advent is almost here, so I created this Advent countdown calendar for my grandson. The snowman is reversible so he can ski down all the slopes, the little flag race gates mark the days as they tick by towards Christmas. Each pocket can hold a tiny trinket or candy for each day along with the flag.

The reverse is a baby Jesus wall hanging to celebrate His birth.

My latest memory quilt.
These are all soccer jerseys. I used the quilt as you go with cover strips method. This technique allows each block to have its own quilting design. This really helped the jerseys pop, I think.
It has Shannon cuddle minky backing and cotton batting for a warm and snuggly quilt.
