Neltners Fall Fest is always a great show. I took a few years off for other things but it felt great coming back to this family farm.

I got to start out with a drive through the hills while the sun came up. I tried to get set up as quickly as possible so I could take a stroll around the farm before the crowd arrived. It’s fun roaming the fields, seeing the animals, enjoying some fall flowers, and all the fun and well made trains. Sunday morning was a little frosty and foggy and it just add to the magic of the quiet farm waking up.
Once the crowd arrived it’s fun people watching and having great conversations with folks. There is delicious foods, w**e tasting and plenty of activities for the whole family.

I met some new vendy friends and they were truly a delight to hang with throughout the weekend. They sell these wonderful smelling candles with amazing art work on the labels, and some delicious baked goods.

Thank you Neltner's Farm for providing a wonderful family fun space! Thank you Curious Candles & Apothecary and WildBloom Sourdough Microbakery for being great neighbors. Annnnnnnnd thank you to everyone that stopped by and purchased something from me this past weekend!

🧶Tonight’s beginner crochet class was delightful. I love watching folks create with their hands and building confidence in their stitches 🥰

🌻 I’m so glad I took the time to stop and smell the flowers this morning. The sunflower fields at Gorman Heritage Farms are gorgeous!

I‘ll be hanging with out with vendy friends Ohio Elderberry and til 5 today, then 9-5 again tomorrow. Come check out the Sunflower Festival! ✨🌻

Thank you to those that signed up and joined us for bookbinding basics. Tonight we tried out/worked on Coptic stitches.

Next month we will be trying out Secret Belgian Binding. Class is November 12th.

It’s been awhile since I was sharing the progress of the piece, she took a vacation to Alaska. 😊I love this piece and wanted to share its journey so far.

This was an absolutely fantastic project to work up. Sarah found a piece that she liked and asked “hey, can you make this?” We took a trip to Weavers Loft, picked out some yarn. I tried out a few stitches, had Sarah pick the ones she liked best, and got to work.

I’m so excited how it turned out. If you’d like a custom piece let me know. I love a new to me project! 🌈❤️✌️

🌞⛺️What a beautiful way to end the last few days of summer, with ! I got to play in the mud and dirt with the kiddos and a couple of big kids too. We sat, worked and moved our hands breaking down the dirt and mud to pull out the clay. It got messy to say the least. 😬 It was fun watching the process go from “ewwww, what is this” to “ohh this is fun and feels nice”🥰
