This morning Good Morning America helped explain the importance of having a routine chimney inspection. It’s NOT just for a fireplace. Inspections help reduce the risk of fire AND carbon monoxide poisoning.

There were more than 20,000 fires related to fireplaces and chimneys in 2015 that resulted in 20 deaths, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
