It’s been an incredible run. Chris is retiring after 50 years at Beck’s and it’s safe to say this place will never be the same! From his storytelling skills (which are unparalleled) to his knowledge of fixing just about anything, Chris will be missed by everyone, but probably most by Stan! This business has been a blessing to our family, and to share the ups and downs, the wins, and even the failures, with a cousin by your side, is a unique and special experience. We can’t thank Chris (and his wonderful wife, Debbie) enough! Chris’ last day is this Thursday- feel free to come by the store to say good bye and good luck! We love ya Chris! ❤️ Enjoy retirement!

We are incredibly sad to announce the passing of George Jones this past weekend. An institution in Walnut Hills for many years, George had the unique ability to connect with anyone. Born and raised in Virginia, he was a man of many accomplishments. But above all, he was a gentleman and a light for many people. Rest in peace George, you’ve earned it. *We’ll add funeral information when it is available.

Many of our longtime customers may remember Mary Jo. She worked as a bookkeeper at our Walnut Hills store for many years. Mary Jo was kind and generous, and had a knack for soothing customers and making everything right. She was a longtime participant in the St. John Passion Play and an active parishioner at St. Francis de Sales Church. Rest in peace, Mary Jo.
