This year, we’re making it even bigger with TWO weekends to shop, explore, and support local!

We’re bringing together 11 amazing Westside women-owned businesses for four days of festive shopping, giveaways, raffles, prizes, and community spirit.
Pink Friday is a nationwide movement created to encourage shoppers to support small and local retailers before the big-box rush of Black Friday — and this year, you’ll have even more time to discover everything our Westside businesses have to offer!

✨ Here’s what to expect:
- Shop Local First and find unique gifts, apparel, home dĂŠcor, self-care favorites, and holiday must-haves
- Pick up your Pink Friday Shopping Passport at any participating location
- Your passport is valid BOTH weekends
- Visit as many participating businesses as you can and collect stamps along the way
- Turn your passport in at your final stop for chances to win prizes
- A full passport earns an entry into our Grand Prize Drawing

This week’s Plant of the Week is… Ornamental Kale and Cabbage! 💚💜

Ornamental kale and cabbage plants are the underrated workhorse of Fall plants. They thrive in cold temperatures and are a great way to add a pop of color and texture to your planters and beds. They are tolerant of frosts and can survive light freezes, making them long-lasting bedding plants—and as the temperatures drop, their colors intensify!

They’re easy plants to care for: water them near the base when the top inch of soil is dry and make sure they get at least 6 hours of sunlight, and you’ve done your job!

We have a wide variety of colors, sizes, and leaf textures available, so you can pick just the right one the adds that “je ne sais quoi” your garden beds or planters need.

P.S. While these plants aren't edible, we do have edible cabbage plants available if that's what you're looking for. 😁

This week's Plant of the Week is.... Mums!

Mums, or chrysanthemums, are popular in the fall for seasonal displays, window boxes, and plantings. It’s easy to see why: there are thousands of varieties that come in a wide array of sizes, shapes, and colors. Plus, they’re easy to care for and affordable. We offer mums in 4.5" and 8.5" pots, hanging baskets, and large terracotta-color planters. You can also find them in our seasonal blooming containers.

Mums do best when they get a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight and are consistently watered. They like to drink a lot of water, so depending on their container and location, they could need water as often as every day. Using your finger to check the top inch of soil, feel to see if it is dry. If so, give your mum a drink.

When choosing your mums, there are a few factors to consider:

Do you want instant color, or a longer display of blooms? Mums take around 20-30 days to go from tight buds to a mass of blooms, so if you want to watch the magic happen, or are timing their peak with the arrival of friends or family, choose a mum with tight buds and little to no color showing.

After that, you just have to decide on the color (or colors) that bring you the most joy, then the size, and finally, how many to buy!
