We recently had the honor of working on a truly unique project: replacing the glass in a twentieth-century vault and helping protect a small but fascinating piece of history.
During the installation, we discovered original shims embedded in the frame were materials dating back to the late 1800s or early 1900s, likely placed there when the vault was first installed. Rather than removing them, we carefully returned them to their original position, preserving the story for the next generation to uncover.
Projects like this remind us that our work goes beyond installation. It’s about craftsmanship, respect for what came before, and doing our part to help maintain history, one detail at a time.
We’re grateful to our client for trusting us with such a meaningful restoration.
