Angie is an Ohio native and graduate of the University of Cincinnati's Fashion Design program at DAAP. While working with Nike in Portland, OR, she created the iconic "cap sleeve jersey" for the
Michael Jordan Comeback Collection. This innovation in thinking changed the face of college and professional basketball. She went on to work for Abercrombie & Fitch where she launched their kids brand and then headed their men's denim & woven's division. It was here she began to travel globally working with diverse teams. Afterwards she joined American Eagle Outfitters as a design director and grew her categories over 200% in her first season, as well as created their eagle logo and denim signature back pocket stitch which skyrocketed their brand positioning as a market leader. Later she worked with Nautica in NYC and eventually founded her interior design consulting firm where she was based in Hong Kong. Angie's experience with global, national and local projects created a world-class visionary thinker. She is the daughter of a local legend and master craftsman who instilled in her that our only limitations exist in our own minds. Angie moved home in 2012 and became the third generation owner of her family construction business, in-tandem focusing her passion towards The Kinfolk Group. She passes out on roller coasters, loves her 35 chickens, whistles while she works, is a kombucha maker, interior designer, branding specialist, fashion stylist, story teller, business coach, owner of
Her Wildwood Farm and mother of an animal whisperer child.
