The key to a happy and successful garden and landscape is WATER!!
Selecting the right plants for your zone, soil conditions and sun light requirements is only the beginning. Once you get your new trees, shrubs, perennials, herbs, veggies, or even annuals planted... you must give them plenty of water and nutrients.

New trees for example need much more water than you may think they do. Even if it rains, you might still need to give some of your plants a thorough drink. We want trees, shrubs and perennials to grow roots down and not just out on the surface. Sprinkling just a little water once a day only encourages those close to the surface roots. Giving a deep long soak helps direct the roots to grow downward which will benefit the plant and you in the years to come. 😉
