I had to pause. It felt wrong to continue to post as if there wasn’t widespread devastation impacting my family, my colleagues, and two beautiful cities I’ve had the pleasure of working in for a decade. By now you’ve heard that Pasadena and Altadena are unlike many surrounding cities due to their rich history in design, architecture, and diversity. To know these cities was to love them. To work in them as I have (and still do), is to be the most fortunate. The devastation is far from over. It is widespread and it is deep. But if you’re impacted by the Eaton Fire and have questions about the building and design process, please reach out. The process may feel overwhelming but with 10 years of remodeling experience I have a wealth of knowledge on the processes it takes to rebuild. Unfortunately, so much history and beauty was lost but with a deep appreciation for historic architecture and years of remodeling experience, I hope to make the rebuilding process a shining light in an otherwise dark time. If anything, may these impact of these fires let us all feel a deeper appreciation for the cities and places we call home 💚
