Well, 2nd times a charm, right?!

I finished the body of the Unicorn intarsia sweater Friday and kept ignoring the niggling thought that I'd messed something up. I tried to convince myself to just keep going, follow the pattern, and trust the process. Yup. I even wove ALL the tails in.

And that's the moment I realized I'd misread part of the instructions waaaaaay back at the armholes and would have to frog the entire project.

This lovely yarn does NOT like to be frogged, so I went very slowly and gently on the purple parts so I wouldn't have to throw away nearly a full skein of yarn. I cut the white section out and tossed it though, because I still had more than enough of the white left to probably make the sweater another 3 times.

I saved every scrap of purple yarn longer than 18" and started over. NOW it looks amazing and the armholes are in the correct places.

Just know, frogging is part of the process, even when you've been knitting/crocheting for nearly 30 years! And, inevitably, the redo is almost always better than the frogged attempt because you've already worked out the trouble spots.

Now, time to weave in all these tails. Again.
