FACEBOOK RESTRICTIONS!
I am so sick of this platform. I know the answer is to just get off the platform, but I have a business account and small business. I rely. I’m posting in Facebook groups to share my events in my classes. On July 16 Facebook arbitrarily restricted me from posting in groups. There’s no way to contact Support other than an automated Support, I have finally gotten into a live agent who said that they would transfer me to a actual specialist in that chat is still open from two weeks ago.!! no one has ever come.
The bot told me my restrictions would be lifted on October 13. They were lifted on October 14 and then put back in place on the 15th. Now they are restricting me from groups until January. I have no doubt that they will play this game again and lift my restrictions for a day and then impose them. I’ve joined Reddit chats to try and find a solution.
It turns out that this is happening to tens of thousands of people, especially with small businesses who refused to get Meta verified. Facebook wants us to pay money for everything. I have no doubt that the next thing it will happen is they will suspend or deactivate my account like has happened to so many other people..
I am going to be posting on the Nextdoor App and giving that a shot. It seems like the bots from Meta are out of control! I wish I didn’t need social media at all, but I do. It seems silly to get stressed out over this, but it is very stressful since community groups help me reach more people. For now, I can still post on my business page, but I don’t know how much longer that will happen. These arbitrary restrictions from Facebook are ridiculous. Some people are saying they have even been banned for posting. Let’s just say, questionable pictures… And they have not done anything of the sort. People who think AI is helping are delusional. It may help in some areas, but what happens when it starts restricting us from our own bank accounts? 🤦🏼♀️
I’m asking all of my followers to also try to find other platforms to share their small businesses. I’ve heard this has happened to so many small businesses because they will not pay Facebook money. I’ve paid them so much money to boost ads and boost events and I can’t even talk to a live person. It’s very frustrating.
