Thanksgiving decorating has never really been about the decorations, has it?

It’s about getting the house ready for the people who will fill it.

The extra chairs pulled up to the table.
Recipes we’ve made a hundred times.
Kids running through the house.
Stories we’ve already heard—but somehow still laugh at.
And maybe remembering someone we wish was sitting there with us. ❤️

That’s what I love about creating pieces for the home.

A wreath might be decoration…

but home is the reason behind it.

Your Thanksgiving decorations don’t have to stop at the dining room table.

A statement wreath can carry those warm Thanksgiving colors right to the front door—or even inside your home.

And something this full doesn’t need a ton of decorating around it.

Hang her on a door, over a fireplace, or on a large wall and let her do the talking. 🧡

A few pumpkins nearby, some warm fall accents…

Done.

This is the part you don’t see when you look at the finished wreath… 👀

Before she was Thankful & Fabulous, she was a whole lotta ribbon, florals, pumpkins, mesh and ideas scattered across my worktable. 😂

There’s a lot of adding something…
stepping back…
moving it…
changing my mind…
and occasionally asking myself, “Sabrina, what exactly are we doing here?” 😂

But THAT is the part I love.

Watching all those separate pieces slowly turn into something that has its own personality. 🧡

And this girl definitely ended up with plenty of personality. 🦃🥧✨

Because subtle just wasn’t in her vocabulary. 😂

She’s big.
She’s playful.
She’s wearing ALL the fall colors.
And she brought her own pumpkin pie.

Basically, she showed up to Thanksgiving ready to be the center of attention.

That little pumpkin pie tucked into this wreath might be one of my favorite details—and now it has me thinking about Thanksgiving dessert.
