Sometimes one piece decides the entire personality of a wreath. 👑

And for this one?

It was HIM. 😂

The moment I had this black, cream and gold Nutcracker, I knew exactly where this design needed to go.

Elegant.
Whimsical.
A little dramatic.
And definitely not shy. 🖤✨

From there, every ribbon and embellishment had one job:

Make the Nutcracker feel like he belonged there.

That’s one of my favorite parts of designing—taking one focal piece and building an entire story around it.

You know that feeling when you put up the Christmas tree…and suddenly the whole house feels like Christmas? 🎄

Your front door can do that too.

You don’t need a porch overflowing with decorations to make your entrance feel special for the season.

One beautiful statement piece can take a plain front door and turn it into that warm, welcoming “Christmas is here” feeling before anyone ever steps inside.

Not every Christmas door needs another Santa or red bow. 🤎🦉

Sometimes you want something a little unexpected.

Something warm and wintry. Something that still feels like Christmas, but doesn’t look like everything else you’ve already seen.

That’s exactly what I wanted this one to be.

The soft ivory owl against those rich chocolate browns gives her personality without losing that elegant woodland feel.

You see the finished wreath. I see every little decision that got it there. 🫶🏻

There is a whole lot of put it in… step back… stare at it… move it two inches… stare at it again happening behind the scenes around here. 😂

But that’s part of handmade.

Every layer is placed until the design feels balanced, full and finished — because I want the piece that arrives at your door to feel special before you ever hang it.

The finished wreath gets all the attention…

but THIS is the part I love. 🖤

Taking ribbon, mesh, picks, a sign and a whole lot of separate pieces—and figuring out how they belong together.

Every loop gets placed.
Every pick gets positioned.
Every empty spot gets another look.

Until suddenly it goes from a pile of supplies to THIS. ✨

That’s the difference between buying décor and having something handcrafted.

This is why I always tell you to look a little closer. 👀

From across the room, you see a pretty Christmas wreath.

Up close?

That’s where all the little decisions start showing.

The chocolate-and-ivory patterned ribbon. The solid brown layered underneath. The warm gold edging. Pinecones tucked between winter greenery. Different textures and finishes layered together so your eye keeps finding something new.

Those details aren’t there just to fill space.

They’re what take a wreath from pretty to finished.

The difference is in the details. 👀✨

This is why I love showing you the close-ups.

Beaded magnolias. Metallic gold leaves. Layered ribbons. Little touches of greenery, black fern and gold berries.

Every detail was chosen to work together—not just to fill space.

Because when I create a custom piece, I want it to feel intentional from across the room and up close.
