This dealership is completely out of its damn mind. 💀

I was just trying to kill time while my car was getting serviced, walked around looking at the 2026s, and immediately understood why nobody was buying anything.

These prices are straight-up comedy.

Dealers really out here acting like every car on the lot is a rare collector’s item personally blessed by God himself. 😭

The amount of markup and random bu****it fees slapped onto these things is insane. At some point it stops being “market pricing” and turns into:
“Let’s see how stupid we think customers are.”

And then six months later they’ll still be sitting on the same inventory wondering why the lot looks abandoned.

$40,000 markup on a RAV4 Prime is actually mental illness. 💀

That’s not a “market adjustment” anymore — that’s a full-blown financial hate crime.

For forty grand extra you could literally buy ANOTHER decent car, but this dealership looked at a Toyota crossover and said:
“Yeah let’s price this thing like it’s a limited-edition Ferrari.” 😭

Oakland dealers really out here smoking industrial-grade crack if they think people are gonna casually pay luxury SUV money for a Rav4 with a plug. 💀

And then they always act confused when the car sits on the lot collecting dust for six months while everyone online clowns them nonstop.

2025 Civic Sport $6k Markup
Anybody else seen markups this high in Cali? I would expect this for maybe the hybrid, but for the regular sport this just seems egregious. Why wouldn’t you just buy a 24 at a discount while they’re trying to clear the lot of last year’s models?
Also, why have I been told by multiple dealers now that the hatchback isn’t returning for 2025 when there’s numerous official sources online saying otherwise? Is this some marketing tactic to try to get people not to hold out for the hatch or are they just ill-informed?

To the clown who slapped a sticker on my car because you didn’t like my parking job:

That is not some heroic public service announcement. That’s you touching property that doesn’t belong to you because you were emotionally overwhelmed by painted parking lines. 💀

You can hate how somebody parked.
You can complain.
You can take a picture.
You can mutter under your breath like a normal person.

What you DON’T get to do is walk up and start sticking things onto somebody else’s vehicle like you’re the Parking Enforcement Avengers. 😭

Since when did being annoyed suddenly give people permission to mess with someone else’s car?

And before somebody says:
“It’s just a sticker.”

Cool. Until the adhesive leaves residue.
Or damages paint.
Or pulls clear coat.
Or turns your little passive-aggressive comedy routine into an actual repair bill.

Then suddenly your “funny message” stops being funny real quick.

It’s honestly insane that grown adults still need to be reminded:
KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF OTHER PEOPLE’S PROPERTY.

If the parking bothered you that much, report it properly instead of waddling over to somebody’s car to play neighborhood vigilante.

And yes, before anybody asks:
I already checked my cameras.
The person was caught clearly.
Authorities have been notified.

Because regardless of what you thought about the parking, you had absolutely zero right to touch my vehicle.

Hope the five seconds of self-righteous satisfaction was worth potentially dealing with real-world consequences over a damn parking spot. 💀

Reminder for everybody:
If the car isn’t yours, don’t touch it.
It’s really not that difficult.

Can someone explain this?
Hello, hope everyone is well.
I got this in the mail today, i was clocked speeding on Dukes Highway, it was an 80 zone going into 60 and i slowed down very late.
The cops were setup with radars, clocked me and pulled me over. Checked everything and told me I’d get something in the mail.
However, there is no due date and amount is $0, am I supposed to do something or what?
Thanks

“Costco Auto Program” always sounds amazing until you actually see the quote and realize the dealership still found a way to sneak in their usual clown behavior. 💀

Saw this Honda Prologue quote at the Costco business center in Hawthorne and now I’m genuinely wondering if this is normal or if this dealer just lost their damn mind.

Because some of these “special Costco prices” feel like:
“We only screwed you slightly less than usual.” 😭

Dealerships really act like slapping a tiny discount on the window magically cancels out all the random fees, add-ons, and inflated nonsense buried in the paperwork.

At this point buying a car feels less like shopping and more like surviving a financial escape room.

$30,000 market adjustment on a Bronco Raptor is actually psychotic. 💀

At that point the dealership isn’t selling a truck anymore — they’re holding it hostage waiting for some rich idiot to panic-buy it.

Imagine paying luxury car money PLUS an extra thirty grand just because the dealer got greedy and started smoking crack in the finance office. 😭

“Market adjustment” is honestly just dealership code for:
“We think somebody dumb enough will eventually show up.”

Went in for my wife’s service appointment and saw this absolute dealership crackhead pricing sitting on the lot. 😭💀

Figured some of you would enjoy this certified “we lost our damn minds” moment as much as I did.

$16,000 markup is absolutely unhinged. 💀

At that point the dealership isn’t selling a car anymore — they’re running a hostage negotiation with wheels. 😭

East Coast finally got a Prelude and the dealership immediately responded with:
“How can we completely ruin this experience?” 💀

Answer:
SLAP A $25,000 MARKET ADJUSTMENT ON IT. 😭

Picture 3 honestly feels like a personal attack on anybody with functioning brain cells.

Because at this point dealerships aren’t even pretending anymore.
They see a car people are excited about and instantly start behaving like ticket scalpers outside a Taylor Swift concert.

MSRP?
Just a suggestion apparently. 💀

And the funniest part is they always act shocked when these cars sit on the lot for months collecting dust while everyone online clowns them nonstop.

Like yes Brad, shocking news:
people don’t want to pay luxury sports car money for a Honda because your dealership got greedy and started hallucinating.

“Market adjustment” has become the automotive version of:
“We think somebody emotionally unstable enough will eventually pay this.”

Am I wrong for walking out of a restaurant because of the tipping sign plastered on their front door?

And before anybody starts foaming at the mouth:
I tip.
Usually 20% minimum.
More if the service is actually good.

I’ve worked service jobs before. I get it.

But yesterday I walked up to this restaurant and taped on the front window in giant handwritten letters was basically:
“Our servers make $3.50/hr. If you can’t afford to tip, you can’t afford to dine out.”

I read it… laughed… and turned right around.

Because I’m sorry, I came here to eat dinner, not get hit with a guilt-trip manifesto before I even touched a menu. 💀

That sign didn’t feel like:
“Please appreciate our hardworking staff.”

It felt like:
“Congratulations customer, you are now personally responsible for funding our payroll system or you’re morally garbage.”

Nah. Absolutely not.

If your business literally depends on emotionally blackmailing strangers through the front window, maybe your business model sucks.

And the craziest part is restaurants keep aiming all this anger at customers instead of the owners paying people starvation wages in the first place.

Like somehow the guy ordering mozzarella sticks is now responsible for fixing the entire labor structure of the restaurant industry. 😭

I don’t mind tipping for good service.
I mind being treated like a walking ATM before I even sit down.

So am I wrong for leaving?
Or does a restaurant shaming people at the front door just scream:
“Hey customers, please cover the costs we refuse to handle ourselves”?
