Hello Geeks, we're looking forward to seeing you all today! Here's some FAQs below that may help you know what to expect!
Where Is This Event Taking Place?
Use the address of 2908 Optimist Farm Road to navigate to our venue. Please note that there are two entrances to this venue, but you will want to enter where there is a yellow Geek and Grub sign that says 'Enter Here'.
Where Do I Park? Once you pass through the main gate you will then proceed slowly down the gravel road (caution: it's a two way road), past the building on the right until you reach a big grassy field. You will want to park on the left hand side. Please leave enough room behind the car in front of you to be able to exit (about 25 feet).
Where do I Check-In?
When you arrive, swing by the HQ Booth (now located at the Gazebo) to find out about our scavenger hunt or get your kiddo a free goodie. You will also drop off your geektastic giveaway tickets at this location. Please note that you do not need to show us tickets to attend this event.
What Is Your Event Schedule? (All Events Subject to Change)
5pm - Geektastic Giveaway #1
5:30pm - Dobby Sock Toss Competition (All Ages)
6:30pm - Sorting Hat Ceremony (All Ages)
7:30pm - Wizard Wand Dueling (Adults Only) - Winner receives two passes to the Playthrough Gaming Convention!
8:30pm - Geektastic Giveaway #2
Where are the Restrooms?
There are restrooms inside the building you saw when you entered and two Porto Potties near the Gazebo.
Is this event Handicap Accessible?
There is handicapped accessible parking on site and restrooms in the main building.
How Does the Geektastic Giveaway Work?
There's three ways to get a chance to score a chance to win geektastic prizes:
1. Purchase from a vendor and as a thank you, they will gift you a Geektastic Giveaway Ticket.
2. Get a Geektastic Giveaway Ticket from the HQ booth.
3. Complete the Scavenger Hunt to earn a Geektastic Giveaway Ticket and a spin on our prize wheel!
Redeem Geektastic Giveaway Tickets at HQ for a chance to win enchanting prizes at 5pm and 8:30pm. Presence required to claim your magical loot.
Are Food and Drinks Available?
Sheila's Aussie Bakery is our featured food truck of the event and we'll have $5 Butter Beer at the Geek Tavern. Please note that we do not serve alcohol at this event.
What is the Scavenger Hunt? How Do I Participate in it?
Our Geek & Grub Scavenger Hunt is a fun family-friendly activity that attendees can enjoy while shopping. Find 8 of our Wizard Themed Gambits and return to the HQ Desk to win a prize!
Is it true kids get a free gift?
Yes, it's true! Bring your little one up to the HQ Booth at the Gazebo and they can get a free gift from our Geek Treasure Chest!

Is this event dog friendly?
Yes, this event is dog friendly, but you must bring doggy bags to dispose of pet waste and be sure to clean up after your pup!
