These floors have seen better days, but there’s plenty of life left in them! 🪵

We’re giving these 2¼” red oak hardwood floors some much-needed TLC with a complete sanding and refinishing.

Years of wear, scratches, and tired finish are about to make way for a fresh new look, topped off with our Commercial Collection, featuring a professional-grade, two-component waterborne finish designed for exceptional durability and long-lasting protection.

The beauty of real hardwood? You don’t always have to replace it to make it look new again.

Stay tuned for the transformation! 👀

Cary, NC Project Update 🪵

A lot of people don’t realize prefinished hardwood isn’t sanded the same way as a traditional site-finished floor.

The factory-applied aluminum oxide finish is tough on abrasives and dulls sandpaper in a hurry. That’s why we start with a steep angle cuts. It allows us to efficiently remove the factory finish while also blending out the factory bevels, giving the floor a flatter, more seamless appearance before we move into the normal sanding sequence.

It’s one of those details most homeowners never see, but it’s a big part of what separates an average refinish from one that truly transforms the floor.

Stay tuned for the finished results.
