It makes me very happy to see so many Hispanic people going out to vote for the Democrats, but at the same time, it makes me angry—because, honestly, it seems the only way we ever learn is the hard way. We shouldn’t have reached this point; if we had turned out to vote in previous elections, we could have spared ourselves so much pain and so many deaths. Anyway, I hope that this time, everyone who called me "crazy" or "exaggerated"—those who told me, "They aren't going to deport anyone; you're just letting yourself be swayed by what the Democrats say"—will finally vote blue. Well, now we can see that I wasn't crazy, and that they view us as being even worse than animals. Vote! Get out there and defend your families and your neighbors. Vote on behalf of all those of us who cannot.
