The bridal shower was orange spritz themed with shades of orange, blues and greenery with so much happiness, love and cheer. Loved making this sweet citrusy arrangement of tangerine oranges, daffodils, Queen Anne’s lace, ranunculus and delphiniums!

Happy 1st day of Spring y’all! Many things are a blooming. 😉 🎀🌸🌺💞😍

There are not enough words to express how excited (and nervous and all the emotions) we are to say we have a baby girl making her way in May maybe end of April! If you know our story, you know the losses and journey to get where we are. While it has been full of so many different emotions and at times so difficult, hope was never lost. Her name will be Philomena- named after the saint of impossible causes.

So all this to say- I’ll be out of office on maternity leave late April until late July. I’ll still have access to my messages but will be slow in responding. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I’m super excited for this next phase of life but will also be excited to see what creativity comes alive while stepping back and for when I comeback late summer/ fall! 💜

Love a cute aisle piece that’s been repurposed in front of the bar. Unpopular florist opinion but I love a good repurposed arrangement allowing more bang for your buck! Ellie and Josh wanted an explosion of color with a wildflower and whimsy feel. The bridesmaids wore French blue and the perfect sky matched their dresses. This makes me so excited for spring and all the beautiful blooms that are starting to pop up! I know it will be cold for the next few days but so looking forward to breezy days and sunshine!

Hi beautiful people- It’s been a hot minute but just wanted to pop in and reintroduce myself to new friends and faces!

I’m Michelle, Owner and Lead Designer for Petrichor Floral Design. I’ve been in the wedding industry off and on for about 20+ years. I’ve sold wedding dresses, planned weddings but designing your wedding flowers has been my favorite by far. I’ve worked as a floral designer for the past 8 years and Petrichor Floral Design came to life in 2023.

My husband Daniel is the Director of Logistics and you can often see him on high ladders helping design awesome installations, packing the vans like a game of Tetris and coming back at the end of the night for breakdowns.

We have a wild 3 year old who always loves to be the floral assistant and always makes sure the flowers are hydrated and pretty. 😜

We also have a schnauzer/australian cattle dog mix named Maxwell who is cleanup crew.

I love pandas, clear coconut snowcones, traveling, onesie pajamas and watching 80s/90s movies.

I love being a mom and love being a floral designer. I love learning people’s stories. After all this time I still cry at weddings. What a sweet honor to adorn and decorate one of the most special days in someone’s life and make their floral vision come to life.

This is my 7th Valentine’s with my husband Daniel. One we were dating and he sent me purple flowers but because I get to do what I do- we have never celebrated Valentines Day on the day or ever really celebrate in a traditional sense. My 14th usually consists of flowers everywhere hoping to bring love and joy in others lives. This year I had a wedding and my husband worked on our crawl space. Real life = real love. I’m ever so thankful for these loves that fill my life with love and joy every single day. We celebrated with carousel rides and Korean barbecue yesterday. We don’t have pink or red so we wore green. 🤩🥰😌💚 it was the perfect family day.
