For this client, we created a design standards to ensure each salon feels unique and thoughtfully designed, while still feeling connected as part of the same family. The standards establish a cohesive foundation of finishes and details, giving each location its own personality while maintaining a consistent brand experience.

Excited to see these finishes come to life over the next few weeks.

A mix of warm woods, cork, rich textures, and earthy tones are coming together for our Work Club project in Lakewood. Every material is thoughtfully selected to create a space that feels layered, inviting, and timeless.

A few moments from behind the scenes lately… ✨

The new studio is officially ours. It’s a work in progress—boxes everywhere and samples stacked high.

Between site visits, client meetings, project coordination, and beach days with my two little boys. This season has been busy, a little chaotic, and so rewarding. Building a business is also building a life I always dreamed of.

The best spaces don’t come together overnight—and neither do the dreams behind them. 🌈

Some spaces don’t need a full renovation. They need someone to see what’s possible.

This Steamboat Springs condo had good bones and a lot of personality, just not the kind our client wanted to live with anymore. So we stripped it back. Warm wood tones stayed. The heavy, dated finishes didn’t. In their place: soft boucle, unlacquered brass, a curved mirror that catches the light instead of competing with it.

The stairwell refresh was an important piece as it is the first focal point into the new space. This high trafffic area needed a statement price that would function without getting worn like it did before.Sometimes the smallest change reads the loudest.

This is what we love most about this work, not gutting a space, but listening to what it already wants to be.

There’s a version of “modern and moody” that feels cold. And then there’s this one.

This home came to us with good bones and big windows. So we leaned into texture over trend. Boucle that begs to be sat in. A gallery wall that reads more like a story than a styling exercise. Linen drapery that catches the afternoon light instead of blocking it out.

The bar nook was the fun part. Black and white photography, a disco ball catching a heel, a hand pouring w**e mid-conversation. It’s the kind of wall that makes you want to linger a little longer after dinner.

Swipe through the mood boards, the elevations, the fabric options we walked through with our client before a single piece was ordered. This is the part of the process nobody posts enough — the decisions behind the “after” photo.

Home should feel like you, just a more finished version of you.

Half of being an interior designer is saying “wait, I have a vision”

The other half is apparently getting the keys to your brand new office space in Lakewood and turning THAT into a moodboard too.

We couldn’t be more excited to watch Interiors by Madeline grow into this next chapter. New walls, new inspiration, same obsession with fabric swatches and design.
