"To Market @ Fall HPMKT to Buy".... a Retro Neo-Romantic Homage to the 1970's @ Thibaut. Awash with color Verdant vistas of greens, lush browns, saturated oranges & ambers, pale blues with teal, and cream. At least the s**g carpet has been transferred into a sleekly framed artwork hung on the wall and not strewn across the floor. It adds great texture with tongue-in-cheek humor. The green plaid sofa upholstery is a terrific pattern foil for the ubiquitous orange/brown/ cream Crocheted Throw... who Didn't have one of those? Textured bases of the bed table lamps. Fabrics, Furniture & Wallcoverings available thru jMontgomeryscott/JackMontgomeryInteriors

"Mastering the Art of Serendipity"
The element of Serendipity is the key to creating interiors which exude an aura of Individuality. "Par Venue" is never a part of Our Design Vocabulary. Antique,Vintage & New: the assemblage of the collected pièces are falling into place in this powder room. Three years & 450 miles separate the sources (Paoli, Pa. & Pepper Pike, Oh., Pompton Lakes,N.J.) purchased at separate occasions & placed into our storeroom inventory. This is the "Boots on the Ground" method by which we acquired the marble top demi-lune cabinet (retrofitted as a sink base), the arch top Baker Antiqued mirror (resized & restored) and the mini crystal chandelier as well as the luxe floral Brocade weave fabric (fabricated into valances).
The colorations, shapes & stylistic motifs of each of the pieces coalesce into a unified compostion. A shout out to Olga & her crew @ The Bonfoey Gallery & Castle Glass for their expertise in restoring & retrofitting the vintage Baker Mfgs. Mirror which we sourced from Mitchell Attenson Estate Sales also thanks to Luigi @ Cleveland Granite & Marble for sourcing the oval sink & retrofitting into the original marble top. Lastly the wallcovering will be a super fine sisal from Thibaut ...but which color or combination of colors will we determine best and of course which trims from Samuel & Sons?

"Pretty, Posh & Practical Powder Room!" Our client's request is for a home that's "Pretty like a English garden" but because this is the primary lavatory on the main floor it must be most Practical not prim & precious. Wit & Whimsy must be present and is a prerequisite to add "charmant" to this intimate room and it's decor must bring a bemused smile to one's face. To accomplish that end we've begun to create an idiosyncratic assemblage of vintage and contemporary wall art and accessories which convey the sensuous blooming abundance of herbaceous garden borders set against and enveloped by the lush greens grass lawns of English parks with fair blue skies overhead.

Vintage framed floral art, Oval English tole tray with flowers, multi-color jacquard weave hand towels, olive green glass bud vase, " Wedgewood-esque" black oval wall plaque, grass cloth covered box with brass handle, matte mirror from K&K, faucet by American Standard. All paint finishes Benjamin Moore.
